Hi, During the early afternoon we rode the trolley line around the Museum again stopping for photos.
Here the E5 is framed in the rear door way of the trolley we were riding.
Late in the afternoon of the Saturday before Labor Day the museum brought out a pair of Chicago North Shore & Milwaukee cars that they ran along with the steam train for guests. The E5 and Nebraska Zephyr cars were used for two dinner train runs.
It was possible to find a few locations where the trolley car looked like it was in a more rural setting.
A fairly modern bus also is in the collection.
This trolley coach (above and below) operated on Saturday only.
Another wig wag signal in the collection.
In one of the barns I found this former Lake Superior and Ishpeming Alco RSD-15 (Nee ATSF).
A former UP gas turbine was on display outside.
The pair of North Shore cars were at the station awaiting for passengers for their first run.
We spent the remainder of the afternoon at the Seaman Road grade crossing, a few miles east of the museum, photographing the comings and goings of the North Shore cars, the Nebraska Zephyr train set and the steam train (above and all below).
Thanks for looking.
